Lemon Drops

After a long day in the office, we wanted to have a cocktail while I cooked risotto for dinner. Connie looked through his favorite drink cookbook and nothing sounded as good as one of the old faithfuls - Lemon Drops. These are so tart, yet so refreshing. A perfect prelude to pea and smoked salmon risotto. Which, if it turns out well, is a story for another day!

Lemon Drops
2 oz citrus vodka
1 oz sugar syrup (1:1 ratio)
1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
Serves one. Best with a twist.
